Schyne is pronounced shine, and the name is about the only flashy thing in Amber Schoniwitz's operation. She is Oahu born and raised with a computer science and mathematics degree she set aside when photography took over in college, and something of the mathematician survives in the work: light handled precisely, frames composed with quiet logic, true 35mm film woven through the galleries. Shooting weddings since 2011, she has the recognition to match the tenure, including features from Martha Stewart Weddings and Pacific Weddings.
